Section Supervisor - Construction | Hinkley Point C (HPC)
- Location: Hinkley Point C
- Start: ASAP
- Hours: 50 hours per week
- Rotation: 10 days on / 4 days off
Long-term opportunity
We are looking for experienced Section Supervisors to support construction activities on the Hinkley Point C project.
This is a hands-on coordination role responsible for managing day-to-day activities across designated areas, coordinating multiple trades and contractors, monitoring progress and ensuring works are delivered safely and efficiently.
Key responsibilities include
- Coordinating multiple contractors and trades
- Managing work areas, access, laydowns and site logistics
- Monitoring progress against daily and weekly programmes
- Identifying and resolving clashes, constraints and blockages
- Coordinating with EHS, Permits, Temporary Works and Lifting teams
- Coordinating MEWP activities
- Maintaining high standards of safety, quality and housekeeping
Requirements
- SSSTS - essential
- Previous construction supervisory experience
- Strong site/trade coordination experience
- Experience managing multiple contractors and work fronts
- Good understanding of construction sequencing and site logistics
- Strong communication and IT skills
Experience within major construction, infrastructure, mechanical or nuclear projects would be highly advantageous.
This role would suit experienced Section Supervisors, Construction Supervisors, Floor Managers, Area Supervisors or Works Supervisors.
