Senior Construction Underwriter - Portfolio Solutions

Eames Consulting are partnering with a leading Lloyd's market insurer on the appointment of a Construction Portfolio Solutions Lead. This is a newly created position within a highly successful Construction division, offering the opportunity to build and shape a portfolio solutions proposition focused on Delegated Authority, Facilities and other portfolio-based trading structures.

The role will be responsible for evaluating and developing portfolio opportunities, assessing performance, supporting facility creation and working closely with underwriting, actuarial, claims and exposure management teams to drive profitable growth.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assessing delegated authority and facility opportunities

• Developing portfolio underwriting strategy and governance

• Monitoring portfolio performance and profitability

• Supporting the creation of broker facilities

• Working closely with brokers, coverholders and internal stakeholders

• Driving data-led underwriting decisions

We are keen to speak with individuals from Delegated Authority, Treaty, Portfolio Underwriting or Facility Underwriting backgrounds. Construction experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
