Job title – Senior Consultant – Employee Benefits

Department – EB

Location – National/Home based

Reporting to – Sales Director

Main purpose of job – Managing a portfolio of mid-market clients, across healthcare and risk consulting.  You will also be responsible for generating new income from existing clients, and generating new clients

Key Accountabilities

Identifying and prospecting new client relationships which leads to achievement of agreed revenue targets & development objectives. 

Managing a portfolio of mid-market clients, and working with our platform and pensions teams on larger projects and prospects

Being a proactive voice in shaping the healthcare and risk propositions – specifically around corporate healthcare and international healthcare

Qualifications

• Qualified or working towards Diploma in financial planning (Dip.PFS) or ACII – X

Skills, Knowledge & Attributes

• Extensive experience in the employee benefits sector working in a senior consulting role – including new business development, fee negotiation and large client management – X
• Extensive knowledge of group risk and healthcare markets – X
• Professionally qualified in relevant employee specialisms. – X
• You will have a good working knowledge of all areas of employee benefits  – X
• Committed to an ongoing programme of CPD. – X
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational and reporting/monitoring skills
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• Proven ability to engage and develop effective working relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders.
