The Role

An opportunity to join a global financial services organisation undergoing a significant HR transformation programme across the European markets. This is a strategic yet hands-on role where you'll help shape the future HR operating model, lead the redesign of key people frameworks, and influence senior stakeholders across the business.

You will partner with HR leadership to kick off a people transformation initiative that will create a regional HR hub to service all European markets. You will lead on the review, design and implementation of critical programmes across HR TOM, job architecture, performance management, promotion and reward. Once new operating models and ways of working bed in, you will lead the centralised team based in the London office.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate on the review and enhancement of the HR operating model, ensuring clear roles, responsibilities and effective ways of working across the European markets.
  • Assess existing practices, identify opportunities for standardisation and recommend improvements aligned to business objectives.
  • Analyse workforce and reward data to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Lead complex HR projects from diagnosis and design through to approval, implementation and post-launch review
  • Build business cases, implementation plans, governance structures and change programmes to support successful delivery.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders and regional HR teams to drive alignment and adoption.
  • Facilitate workshops, consultations and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Develop training materials, tools and guidance to build capability and ensure sustainable implementation.
  • Contribute to wider HR transformation, organisational development and people strategy initiatives.

Requirements

  • An HRBP or HR CoE background with proven experience leading strategic HR projects or transformation programmes in financial services
  • Track record of operating in a complex, matrixed, international environment.
  • Hands-on experience reviewing, designing and implementing HR policies, frameworks or operating models, and supporting their governance and continuous improvement after launch
  • Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate business priorities into practical frameworks and solutions.
  • Experience leading organisational change through implementation and adoption, including stakeholder engagement, communication and capability building
  • Ability to influence and engage stakeholders across multiple European jurisdictions.
Desired Skills and Experience
