Large Global FMCG Company

Big Four Tax professional looking to make the move in-house?

I'm partnering with a large global FMCG business to recruit a Share Plans & Reward Tax Manager to join its Group Reward team in London.

This is a great opportunity for someone with around 4 years' Big Four experience, particularly within share plans, employment tax, reward tax, global mobility, or executive compensation, who is looking to take the next step in their career and gain valuable in-house experience.

The role has a strong technical focus on share plans and tax, alongside exposure to executive reward, international markets and senior stakeholders.

The Role

Working closely with the Group Head of Share Plans and wider Executive Reward team, you will play a key role in the management and delivery of the company's global share plan portfolio, with particular emphasis on the tax and technical aspects of share plans and executive reward.

Key responsibilities will include:

-Supporting the delivery and ongoing management of global employee share plans

-Providing technical input on share plan taxation and employment tax matters across multiple jurisdictions

-Working with internal Tax, Reward, Legal, Global Mobility and HR teams on complex share plan and reward matters

-Supporting the annual global share plan cycle and related tax requirements

-Advising on the tax implications of executive reward and employee share arrangements

-Working with external advisers on international tax and share plan matters

-Supporting executive reward and compensation activity, including benchmarking and remuneration analysis

-Analysing remuneration reports, market data and executive compensation disclosures

-Preparing technical analysis, reports and presentations for senior stakeholders

-Supporting share plan communications and ensuring accurate employee-facing information

-Maintaining strong governance, controls and documentation around share plans

-Contributing to wider Group Reward and executive compensation projects

About You

We are particularly interested in speaking with candidates who have:

-Around 4 years' experience within a Big Four firm

-A strong background in employment tax, reward tax, share plans or related tax advisory

-Technical tax expertise, ideally with exposure to employee share plans

-An interest in developing a career within in-house Reward / Share Plans

-Experience working with multinational clients and/or international tax matters

-Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex technical information

-Excellent communication skills and the confidence to work with senior stakeholders

-A proactive approach and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

-A tax or accounting qualification would be advantageous, but strong relevant Big Four experience is the key requirement.

Please apply to be considered for this opportunity.
