We’re looking for a Senior Planner to join our Severn Trent Water Framework


Location: Derby or Birmingham – This role offers hybrid working, combining office and site attendance with home-based working.

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 Depending on experience

Due to continued growth on our Severn Trent Water framework, we're looking for an experienced Senior Planner to play a key role in the successful delivery of major water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Working alongside multidisciplinary teams, you'll help shape programme strategies, drive project performance and support the delivery of essential services to local communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage project programmes using Primavera P6
  • Work closely with project teams to ensure robust planning across all stages
  • Provide guidance, challenge and insight to support successful project delivery
  • Track progress, identify risks and support mitigation planning
  • Support and mentor junior members of the planning team.

Skills and Experience:

  • Strong planning experience in infrastructure, utilities or civil engineering
  • NEC experience would be advantageous
  • Proficient in using Microsoft packages
  • Excellent P6 skills and solid understanding of project controls
  • Experience working within construction.
  • Ability to support and influence multidisciplinary teams
