Senior Project Manager – Aladdin Application & Database Migration
Senior Project Manager with strong experience in the Aladdin platform and enterprise technology transformation programs.
The successful candidate will lead project planning, execution oversight, stakeholder management, governance, risk and dependency management, migration-wave coordination, and executive reporting for a large-scale Aladdin application and database migration program.
Key Responsibilities
🔹 Lead and coordinate migration activities for applications within the Aladdin ecosystem.
🔹 Manage project scope, timelines, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.
🔹 Coordinate across application development, infrastructure, database, engineering, and support teams.
🔹 Manage application portfolio assessment, dependency analysis, ownership mapping, prioritization, and migration readiness.
🔹 Lead migration-wave planning, release scheduling, cutover readiness, go/no-go activities, and post-migration follow-up.
🔹 Facilitate governance meetings, steering committees, status reviews, migration readiness checkpoints, and executive reporting.
🔹 Serve as a key liaison among application owners, engineering teams, database teams, infrastructure teams, and program leadership.
🔹 Track migration progress, application readiness, risks, dependencies, upcoming milestones, and delivery status.
🔹 Develop dashboards and management reports using Power BI, Azure DevOps, or comparable tools.
🔹 Proactively identify and escalate blockers while driving timely resolution across multiple teams.
Required Qualifications
✅ 8+ years of experience in Project/Program Management delivering enterprise technology programs.
✅ Prior Aladdin engagement experience with a strong understanding of the Aladdin platform and application ecosystem.
✅ Experience managing large-scale application migration, modernization, infrastructure, or database transformation initiatives.
✅ Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile delivery, governance, and release management.
✅ Experience managing complex application portfolios involving multiple technologies, owners, and delivery teams.
✅ Experience with Azure DevOps, Power BI, Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar tools.
✅ Strong skills in risk, issue, dependency, milestone, and stakeholder management.
✅ Excellent communication, facilitation, executive reporting, and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
⭐ Experience supporting or working within the Aladdin ecosystem.
⭐ Exposure to Sybase and Microsoft SQL Server and database migration programs.
⭐ Experience with application discovery, dependency mapping, connection scanning, and migration-assessment tools.
⭐ Working knowledge of enterprise technologies such as Java, Python, Perl, C++, and related application architectures.
⭐ PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, or equivalent certification.
⭐ Financial Services, Investment Management, or Asset Management experience.
