One of our flagship contracts is with the Ministry of Defence at a major base near Watford – a complex, high-profile environment where we provide a full range of hard, soft, and technical FM services.
We are currently looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor who will play a pivotal role in the commercial and financial delivery of the contract, working within a fast-paced and operationally critical environment. Based onsite - full-time - You will collaborate closely with the Commercial Manager to ensure strong financial performance in line with business plans and forecasts.
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will:
This role requires a minimum level of security clearance and may also require a higher level of National Security Vetting. You should be aware that certain levels of clearance or specific projects and/or sites have UK residency requirements; and any dual or multiple nationalities must be declared. Any persons who do not fulfil these residency requirements may be unable to obtain the required level of clearance and would not be eligible to undertake this role.

We are currently looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor who will play a pivotal role in the commercial and financial delivery of the contract, working within a fast-paced and operationally critical environment. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will:
- Assist the Commercial Manager in leading the on-site Commercial Team embedded within a high-profile MoD PFI contract
- Take responsibility for the commercial and financial delivery of:
- New works
- Lifecycle projects
- Business-as-usual activities
- Oversee measurement of completed works and agree payment applications
- Monitor progress of applications and manage or resolve commercial disputes
- Maintain ownership of the financial portfolio, ensuring key targets and milestones are achieved
- Provide accurate reporting to the business and support financial forecasting
- A creative and innovative approach to problem-solving, with the ability to work effectively in a complex, regulated environment
- Experience of setting up and/or operating office management systems, including filing systems, document control and information distribution
- Proven experience of technical minute taking at contractual meetings, with the ability to collate information and prepare clear, accurate reports
- Experience of drafting contractual correspondence on behalf of a Project Director
- Experience preparing payment certificates and interim financial reports
- The ability to obtain or hold Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance
- You need to be able to work onsite at HA6 5 days per week
