We are currently looking for a Travel Administrator. As part of a small administration team the MT (Transport) and Travel Administrator post will deliver an excellent service to the customer, meeting the contractual provision of the Transport and Travel Services at Northwood HQ. Over time and with relevant training the position will see the postholder competent in administration duties across the 2 areas of the department

We are currently looking for a Travel Administrator. As part of a small administration team the MT (Transport) and Travel Administrator post will deliver an excellent service to the customer, meeting the contractual provision of the Transport and Travel Services at Northwood HQ. Over time and with relevant training the position will see the postholder competent in administration duties across the 2 areas of the department
As the Travel Administrator, you will:
- Process all hire and third-party booking requests. It will also provide general MT office support and will assist the Travel Team as and when required
- Providing MT services in accordance with both MoD and or civilian regulations and contractual requirements at all times
- Demonstrate competence in the use of bespoke MoD Management Information Systems (MIS)
- To work within clear guidelines, policies and procedures Maintaining data and efficient filing systems following strict processes for accuracy
- Ability to pass security clearance. In order to pass, the successful candidate will have been continually resident in the UK for 5 years
- Participate in an on-call service to ensure a fast response to emergencies
- Experience of face to face customer service within a busy customer focussed office environment
- Competent in the use of Microsoft office to an intermediate level (essential)
- Meticulously organised and have excellent communication skills
- Must be able to work unsupervised or as part of a team
- Good team player, with a positive, professional attitude
