Senior Scientist / Associate Principal Scientist, Bioanalytical Services
Are you an experienced bioanalytical scientist who enjoys solving complex scientific challenges and developing innovative LC-MS methods?
Domainex is looking for a Senior Scientist or Associate Principal Scientist to join our Bioanalytical Services team at Unity Campus, Pampisford, between Cambridge and Saffron Walden.
You’ll work across varied early-stage drug discovery programmes, developing novel LC-MS methods, troubleshooting complex assays and applying your expertise to small-molecule bioanalysis, ADME studies and intact protein analysis. You’ll also collaborate with colleagues across biology and chemistry, present scientific data to clients and have the opportunity to manage bioanalytical projects
We’re looking for experience in
- 🧪 Developing bioanalytical LC-MS/MS methods
- 🧪 Performing and developing in vitro ADME assays
- 🧪 UPLC-MS/MS triple quadrupole instrumentation
- 🧪 Biological sample extraction and preparation, including protein precipitation and SPE
- 🧪 Troubleshooting assays, methods and instrumentation
- 🧪 Processing and interpreting complex bioanalytical datasets
- 🧪 Working in CRO, biotechnology or pharmaceutical environments
- 🧪 Contributing effectively within multidisciplinary project teams
Experience with Waters Q-ToF instruments, high-resolution accurate-mass spectrometry or large-molecule and protein mass spectrometry would be advantageous, although it is not essential.
