Looking for a role where you can solve genuinely complex software challenges, work directly with clients, and have a real impact on delivery?


We're representing a highly respected technology consultancy working with some of the UK's largest fintech organisations and government departments. You'll work in small, collaborative teams delivering bespoke software solutions while helping shape technical direction and mentoring others.


They're hiring at both Senior and Lead Software Engineer level, with a strong focus on Java. They're particularly interested in engineers who are either already working with AI technologies or have a genuine interest in applying AI within software engineering.


What you'll be doing:

  • Building high-quality software across the full development lifecycle
  • Solving complex technical problems for a variety of clients
  • Working closely with engineers, testers, designers and stakeholders
  • Mentoring colleagues and supporting best practice
  • Taking ownership of significant pieces of delivery work


More importantly, you'll be a strong problem-solver who enjoys learning new technologies and building maintainable, well-structured systems.
