An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated senior staff nurse to join our team in Belford Hospital, CAU. CAU encompasses enhanced care, Day Surgery Unit and a Pre-Assessment Clinic however this post is primarily based in CAU/EC. The position would be suited to an individual who is organised, forward thinking and dedicated to ensuring the highest standard of patient care in a busy multi-speciality area. You should also be eager to be involved in quality improvement and education of staff.
CAU currently sees all emergencies admitted through A&E & GPs. Our 2 bedded EC is equipped for patients requiring up to level 2 care. Experience at this level is desirable.
The team at the Belford Hospital are in the process of planning for a new hospital and as the Band 6 you would be part of the senior ward team shaping future services.

The Belford Hospital is situated in Fort William in Lochaber, the Outdoor Capital of the UK. The area is one of outstanding beauty offering opportunities for water sports, mountaineering and snow sports. Fort William itself lies at the head of Loch Linnhe and at the foot of Ben Nevis, the highest and most popular mountain in the British Isles with Glasgow, Inverness and Stirling all within a 2 hour drive.
