UK | Remote-first (with client travel)

Full-time | Permanent

About the role

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Reporting / Integration Consultant to join our growing team at Silver Cloud.

This is a senior, client-facing technical consulting role focused on delivering high-quality Dayforce reporting and integration solutions across client projects and managed services engagements. You’ll act as a technical specialist within the business, leading complex reporting and integration work, supporting solution design, troubleshooting issues, and helping clients get the most from their Dayforce environment.

You’ll work across the full project lifecycle, from discovery and requirements gathering through to configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. This role would suit someone who combines deep Dayforce Reporting & Analytics and Integration Studio expertise with strong consulting skills, technical problem-solving ability, and the confidence to work closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

If you enjoy solving complex technical challenges, working across multiple clients, and being a trusted go-to expert in a specialist consultancy environment, this is a great opportunity to make a visible impact.

You’ll report directly to our Technical Portfolio Manager.

What you’ll do

  • Gather, analyse, and document customer reporting and integration requirements
  • Act as a subject matter expert across Dayforce Reporting, Payroll, Workforce Management, Organisational Structure, and Integration solutions
  • Lead complex reporting and integration initiatives, providing advanced analysis, troubleshooting, and solution design support
  • Translate business and customer requirements into scalable technical solutions and functional specifications
  • Design, configure, and support Dayforce reporting and integration solutions, including exports, imports, XML integrations, API integrations, DF Link processes, and benefit carrier feeds
  • Use Dayforce Integration Studio to build, troubleshoot, optimise, and maintain integration workflows
  • Develop and maintain custom reports, calculated logic, data mappings, and export configurations within Dayforce
  • Perform SQL coding and data analysis to support reporting, validation, troubleshooting, and reconciliation
  • Run customer workshops, consulting sessions, and technical discussions, ensuring requirements and decisions are clearly documented
  • Work closely with customers, vendors, and internal teams to support testing, issue resolution, and successful deployment
  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of export and integration solutions to agreed timelines and quality standards
  • Analyse export files, integration logs, API responses, and technical documentation to identify root causes and resolve issues
  • Troubleshoot complex reporting, integration, XML, and API-related issues across multiple client environments
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and knowledge sharing to consultants and team members across the practice
  • Support continuous improvement by documenting solutions, technical standards, lessons learned, and best practices

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience leading Dayforce implementation projects in a technical capacity, with strong focus on reporting and integrations
  • Strong expertise in Dayforce configuration, with a good understanding of how Payroll, WFM, HR, benefits, and organisational structures interact across modules
  • Advanced experience with Dayforce Reporting & Analytics and Dayforce Integration Studio
  • Hands-on experience with reporting, exports, imports, APIs, XML integrations, and data transformations
  • Strong technical capability in:
  • SQL development and data analysis
  • XML / XSLT and structured data transformation
  • troubleshooting and interpreting technical specifications from vendors and third parties
  • root cause analysis of integration and data issues
  • Ability to analyse integration failures, technical logs, and vendor feedback to determine root cause and define resolution steps
  • Experience collaborating with external vendors, customers, and internal teams to deliver and validate high-quality integrations and workflows
  • Strong ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into technical solutions within Dayforce
  • Experience working with large, complex enterprise clients across multiple projects
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts into clear business language
  • Strong documentation discipline and a completer-finisher mindset
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a genuine interest in continuous improvement and high-quality delivery

Particularly relevant backgrounds might include
