We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Site Agent to join our team on a major rail infrastructure framework, supporting the delivery of a range of exciting station improvement and Access for All (AfA) schemes. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is keen to further develop their skills and take on increasing levels of responsibility.
Working on a long-term framework delivering rail station enhancements from design through to construction and handover, you will play a key role in the safe and efficient delivery of projects that improve accessibility and passenger experience. Reporting to a Project Manager and working closely with engineering, design, planning, and commercial colleagues, you will be responsible for managing site activities across either a large-scale project or a portfolio of smaller schemes.

Role Responsibilities
- Manage site activities for rail station improvement and Access for All projects, ensuring delivery is safe, efficient, and compliant with project requirements.
- Oversee day-to-day construction operations from early design and planning stages through to commissioning and handover.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to ensure works are delivered to programme, budget, and quality requirements.
- Work closely with project management, engineering, design, planning, and commercial teams to support successful project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with rail industry standards, health and safety legislation, company procedures, and client requirements.
- Monitor site progress, identify risks and opportunities, and implement solutions to maintain project performance.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and delivery partners throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support the development and implementation of construction methodologies, work package plans, and site management strategies.
- Ensure all project documentation, reporting and records are maintained accurately and in accordance with project requirements.
- Promote a positive safety culture and drive continuous improvement across site activities.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
- Degree, HND or equivalent qualification in Construction, Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- Experience delivering rail station improvement and/or Access for All schemes.
- Experience managing site-based construction activities within a rail environment.
- Knowledge of rail station infrastructure and rail engineering terminology.
- Experience working on projects for Train Operating Companies, Network Rail, or similar rail sector organisations.
- Understanding of ASPRO processes and their application to rail project delivery.
- Strong leadership, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple work activities and manage competing priorities.
- Good understanding of health, safety, environmental and quality management requirements within rail infrastructure projects.
- Professional membership of a relevant institution, such as ICE.
- Experience working within framework delivery environments.
- Competencies such as ALO Planner, Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC), and Lift Authorised Person (AP).
- Experience managing multidiscipline rail station enhancement programmes.
- Knowledge of accessibility-focused infrastructure projects and passenger improvement schemes.
