The Opportunity
Working closely with the Head Chef, you'll help lead a talented brigade, ensuring exceptional standards are maintained across every service.
You'll have the chance to influence menus, develop your team, and contribute to a culinary offering that reflects the individuality, energy, and sophistication of our hotel.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting the Head Chef in leading the day-to-day operation of the kitchen
- Driving exceptional food quality, presentation, and consistency across all services
- Leading, coaching, and developing junior chefs and kitchen teams
- Taking responsibility for kitchen operations in the Head Chef's absence
- Assisting with menu development, seasonal changes, and new concepts
- Managing stock control, ordering, and food cost management
- Ensuring all food safety, hygiene, and compliance standards are exceeded
- Creating a positive, high-performing kitchen culture built on teamwork and respect

The Ideal Candidate
We're looking for someone who combines strong culinary ability with exceptional leadership qualities.
You'll ideally have
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or a strong Junior Sous Chef ready for their next challenge
- Experience within a quality hotel, lifestyle, luxury, or premium restaurant environment
- A genuine passion for food, hospitality, and guest experience
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop others
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Commercial awareness with experience managing food costs and stock control
- A hands-on approach and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
- A desire to build a long-term career within luxury hospitality
