Exciting opportunity for September 2026: Bromley Vision Team – Sensory Support Service

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children? We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to specialise in working with C hildren and Young People with vision impairments within the Vision Team, Sensory Support Service. In this role, you will support the inclusion of C hildren and Y oung P eople with vision impairments through individual support in schools and by modifying educational materials and resources . Support and t raining will be provided to gain an expertise in vision impairment and braille. You will work alongside a n experienced and dedicated team .

This post is part-time for 19.5 hours per week x 39 weeks per year (term time only).

This role would suit an experienced mainstream, or special school teaching assistant , who is enthusiastic about making a difference.

Interview Date: Tuesday, 8 th September 2016

Start date: A s soon as possible
