Job summary

We are seeking a committed Specialty Doctor in Paediatrics to join the team at Glangwili General Hospital. This permanent post offers the opportunity to work at middle grade level within a supportive and well-established paediatric service. You will join a rota alongside paediatric trainees and experienced Specialty Doctors, contributing to a collaborative and friendly team environment.

Main duties of the job

You will benefit from supportive working conditions while developing your career within a well-structured paediatric service. The Women and Children's Health Directorate delivers care for children, young people, and women across Hywel Dda. The paediatric service is supported by an experienced senior nursing team and is focused on delivering high-quality, integrated care. Services are designed to meet local population needs, with acute paediatrics provided across district general hospital sites and a centralised Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU), managing approximately 250 admissions per year. Neonatal intensive care is supported through a regional transport service.
