Join Our Heart Unit Team as a Nurse

We have 2 fixed term 12 month Posts available to cover Maternity leave.

About The Role

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients on our 19 Bedded unit
  • Care for a wide range of patient who have procedures, such as Angiogram with Percutaneous Coronary Intervention and Pacemakers
  • Support patients electively and inpatients who are coming to the unit for procedures.

Shift Pattern

  • Shifts are from 07:30 am - 20:00. Rotating across days and nights and weekends

Main duties of the job

Are you a dedicated nurse committed to providing personalised care? We are seeking a skilled professional to assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate patient care before and after procedures, ensuring every patient receives tailored, high-quality interventions.

  • Excellent communication skills are essential for delivering sensitive information and lifestyle advice effectively
  • Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible patient outcomes

Additional Responsibilities

  • Play a vital role in the education, development, supervision, and assessment of learners and unregistered staff
  • Support departmental clinical governance initiatives and participate in audit reviews

Professional Conduct

  • Uphold professionalism in line with the NMC Codes of Professional Conduct
