This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the day‑to‑day running of a busy and high‑performing service, ensuring our patients receive timely, safe and compassionate care. You will work closely with the Operations Lead Manager, Clinical Leads and wider multidisciplinary teams to support operational delivery, performance, workforce management and service improvement.

- Oversee the daily operational requirements of selected Pain Service areas, ensuring clinics, theatre lists and patient pathways run smoothly.
- Support the achievement of key performance standards, including RTT and cancer pathways, through accurate validation, escalation and collaborative problem‑solving.
- Build strong working relationships across clinical and administrative teams, using your communication and influencing skills to drive positive change.
- Support medical staffing processes including rota coordination, sickness monitoring, mandatory training compliance and job plan activity.
- Lead or contribute to complaint investigations, PALS enquiries and incident reviews, ensuring timely and compassionate responses.
- Analyse complex data to understand capacity, demand and performance, supporting decision‑making and service planning.
- Contribute to service improvement projects, PDSA cycles and governance processes to enhance patient experience and operational excellence.
- Provide line management, coaching and development support to administrative staff within the service
