As a Communications & Engagement Consultant, you'll help ensure important projects are understood, celebrated and supported by the people they affect.

You'll

  • Create compelling stories, content and campaigns that engage internal and external audiences
  • Turn technical information into clear, accessible and engaging communications
  • Help raise awareness of project milestones, achievements and community impact
  • Strengthen connections between clients, project teams and stakeholders
  • Support the delivery of communications that build trust, understanding and engagement

Here's what you'll need

We're looking for a creative, proactive communications professional with a passion for storytelling and audience engagement.

Working closely with clients, project teams and colleagues across Jacobs, you'll create content that people genuinely want to read, watch and share. From newsletters and social media content to project case studies, presentations and digital campaigns, you'll play a key role in bringing projects, priorities and people to life.

You'll help manage communication channels, support stakeholder engagement activities, identify compelling stories and contribute to campaigns that raise awareness of the incredible work being delivered across the infrastructure and built environment sectors.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys balancing creativity with organisation and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

  • Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to create clear, engaging content
  • Strong storytelling instincts and a passion for creating communications that resonate with audiences
  • Experience creating content across digital and communication channels
  • The ability to adapt messaging for different audiences and platforms
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to quality and accuracy
  • Confidence using digital communication tools and channels
  • An interest in infrastructure, engineering or the built environment
