This is an exciting opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team of statisticians, data scientists and epidemiologists, collaborating on portfolio of innovative clinical trials, health services research that directly informs NHS policy and planning, methodological research, and data science innovations. We are expanding the team and seeking an enthusiastic Statistician to provide trial design and analysis in support of our Clinical Trials Unit’s expanding research portfolio, and statistical support for our National Audit Programme—an umbrella of four national clinical audits managed by ICNARC that spans more than 500 health service providers and 4 million electronic health records.

The Intensive Care National Audit & Research Centre (ICNARC) is an independent, scientific, not-forprofit organization. Our scientific work helps improve the quality of critical care through clinical audit, research and education, conducted with, and in the interests of, patients and those who care for them. A pioneer in clinical audit, ICNARC was established 1994 and is now home to around 65 staff with a diverse range of skills and experience who share passion for scientific rigor and evidence-based healthcare.
What you will need to succeed
Applicants must have: an MSc in Medical Statistics or related discipline (or equivalent experience); familiarity with analysing of routine health data and/or clinical trials; a familiarity with standard statistical software; and the ability to express technical information clearly.
