Supply Planner

Are you an analytical and proactive Supply Planner looking to develop your career within a truly global manufacturing business?

We are partnering with a market-leading international manufacturer to recruit a Supply Planner who will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient flow of materials and finished goods across a complex global supply chain on a 6-12 month contract basis with the potential to go permanent.

As Supply Planner, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining supply plans that ensure customer demand is fulfilled whilst balancing inventory, production capacity, and service levels.

Working closely with Demand Planning, Production, Procurement, Logistics, and Commercial teams, you will drive supply chain performance and support key business objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and maintaining rolling supply plans across multiple product categories
• Managing inventory levels to optimise availability while minimising excess stock
• Monitoring production capacity and identifying potential supply constraints
• Collaborating with manufacturing sites and suppliers to ensure continuity of supply
• Supporting S&OP and planning review processes
• Analysing demand fluctuations and recommending appropriate supply responses
• Tracking and reporting key supply chain KPIs
• Identifying risks within the supply chain and implementing mitigation plans
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning processes and performance
  
  

We are looking for a motivated planning professional with strong analytical capabilities and a passion for problem-solving.

You will ideally have:

• Experience in a Supply Planner, Production Planner, Materials Planner, Supply Chain Planner, or similar role
• Previous experience within a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of inventory management and supply planning principles
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• A proactive approach with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
