Are you a Talent Acquisition professional looking for an opportunity to help build and shape the recruitment function within a newly established government owned organisation?

I am working with a newly established government organisation that is entering an exciting period of growth and building the workforce required to deliver its long-term ambitions. They are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition professional to support the development of a high-performing recruitment function and deliver recruitment activity across the organisation.

This is a hands on role where you will take responsibility for the end-to-end delivery of recruitment activity, partnering with hiring managers on their resourcing requirements while also playing an important role in developing the organisation's recruitment processes, employer brand, candidate experience and talent acquisition capability.

This Talent Acquisition Manager role is an interim position paying £375 per day (inside IR35). The role is based near Euston where you will need to be able to attend the office 2 days per week.

Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Managing the full end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, from workforce planning and requisition approval through to sourcing, assessment, offer and onboarding.
  • Partnering with senior leaders and hiring managers to understand recruitment requirements and provide expert advice on attraction, selection and recruitment best practice.
  • Supporting the development of a scalable talent acquisition function, including recruitment frameworks, policies, processes and governance appropriate for a newly established government-owned organisation.
  • Developing attraction strategies and employer branding initiatives to reach high-quality and diverse talent while delivering an excellent candidate experience.
  • Promoting inclusive recruitment practices, monitoring diversity across candidate pipelines and identifying opportunities to remove barriers and improve representation.
  • Using recruitment data and insight, including time-to-hire, cost-per-hire and source effectiveness, to monitor performance, improve processes and support strategic workforce decisions.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Talent Acquisition or Recruitment professional with a strong track record of managing end-to-end recruitment and partnering with senior stakeholders. You will have experience of managing multiple recruitment campaigns and competing priorities, alongside strong knowledge of recruitment best practice, Applicant Tracking Systems and the ability to use recruitment data to drive continuous improvement.

Previous experience within government, the wider public sector, an arm's-length body or another regulated environment would be highly advantageous, although candidates who have helped build recruitment capability within start-up, transformation or fast-growing organisations are very much encouraged to apply.

You will be an excellent communicator with strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, comfortable working within a fast-paced and evolving organisation where processes and ways of working are continuing to develop. A CIPD qualification or equivalent professional accreditation would also be advantageous.

Apply now to join a newly established organisation where you will play a key role in building its workforce, shaping its Talent Acquisition capability and helping create an inclusive and high-performing organisation from the outset.
