Technical Pricing Actuary - Bermuda

Are you a Pricing Actuary with strong Python and data science experience, and open to a move to Bermuda?

We're working with a well-known Bermuda reinsurer looking to hire a Pricing Actuary into their team.

This role sits close to underwriting and combines hands-on pricing work with broader data science and analytics projects. Whilst the client is keen to bring additional technical and data science capability into the team, hands-on pricing experience is essential.

They're looking for someone who enjoys getting into the detail, building tools, working with data and partnering with the business to drive better decision-making.

Key requirements include...

• 5+ years' actuarial experience within P&C insurance/reinsurance

• Hands-on pricing experience is essential,

• Strong Python programming skills

• Experience working with SQL, databases and large datasets

• Power BI and DAX experience

• Previous exposure to data science, predictive modelling or advanced analytics projects

• Comfortable working directly with underwriters and other business stakeholders (and experience of challenging them a plus)

The team already has a number of experienced pricing actuaries, so they're flexible on the depth of data science experience provided you've had exposure to it in a previous or current role and have an interest in developing that side of your skillset further.
