Role: Design Consultant - Tenders

Location: Remote, with regular travel to customer and client sites as a core part of this sales role. A car allowance is provided to support this, alongside flexible access to Konica Minolta and Regus offices nationwide.

£39,106 - £52,500 + 15% bonus and car allowance

Join Us as a Design Consultant

As our next Design Consultant, your primary focus will be supporting, clarifying and responding to customer tenders from a technical solution perspective encompassing our entire solution portfolio.

Working with multiple departments to deliver forward thinking responses that meet all of the tenderers requirements and ensure the highest quality response and the highest score attainable.

The Tender Design Consultant will act as a focal point in customer tender projects and relationships, the Tender Design Consultant will support and shepherd the tender through the entire response process by ensuring key stakeholders are aligned and delivering world class technical responses which have a consistency of tone.

Approaching customer Tenders with an exploratory and analytical mindset, asking “why” and “how” before deciding on “what” should be proposed.

An agile mindset is essential together with the willingness to push the boundaries of current conventional thinking while being mindful at all times of market drivers, first mover advantage and not being constrained by existing systems, infrastructure, or ways of working.

KEY DELIVERABLES:

1. Working with Bids & Tenders, Sales and Design Consultants to deliver high quality tender responses and ensure we have the right solutions available to meet the initial customer requirements while balancing future innovation potential where possible
2. Responsibility for defining and managing the tender process for all solution related opportunities and ensuring necessary stakeholders are aligned based on the requirements of the customer
3. Acting as ‘Solutions Tender Owner' of all responses to which they are assigned to ensure that responses, timescales and all requirements are met and/or exceeded as part of the Konica Minolta response
4. Production of all the required and agreed documentation ensuring accuracy throughout and supporting in the delivery and presentations to stakeholders at all levels
5. Internal resource alignment and implementation in terms of roles and functions required for a successful outcome
6. Ability to create and refine sector specific libraries of content required for use within tender responses
7. Responsibility for solution based responses within the tender process to ensure best fit across our wide range of software solutions

We'd Love to Hear from You If You:

• Proven industry experience with print management products such as Papercut and SafeQ as well as other solutions at a technical/design level
• Proven experience in tender responses and the associated documentation
• Experience of working collaboratively and to tight deadlines across multiple projects
