Test Manager
Are you an experienced Test Manager who can see beyond individual applications and drive quality across complex, enterprise-wide transformation programmes?
We're partnering with a globally recognised financial services organisation on a Test Manager / Quality Engineering Lead contract opportunity supporting a major Financial Crimes Transformation programme. This is a high-impact role where you'll be responsible for leading testing across multiple platforms and workstreams, while helping shape and mature the organisation's quality engineering capability.
This role is ideal for someone who combines strong test leadership with a modern quality engineering mindset, bringing expertise in process improvement, automation, stakeholder management, and end-to-end customer journey testing. Previous experience within large Financial payments companies will be a significant advantage, enabling you to add value quickly within the programme.
What you'll be doing
- Leading testing activities across a large-scale Financial Crimes Transformation programme.
- Managing quality across multiple platforms, systems, and workstreams.
- Driving improvements in testing maturity through enhanced processes, tooling, and automation initiatives.
- Championing Quality Engineering best practices and embedding a continuous improvement mindset.
- Overseeing end-to-end journey testing rather than focusing on a single application or platform.
- Building strong relationships with programme leadership, technology teams, and business stakeholders.
- Providing leadership and direction across complex testing environments.
What we're looking for
- A proven background in Test Management within large-scale transformation programmes.
- Previous experience working with the Financial Payments Industry.
- Experience leading testing across multiple platforms and business workstreams.
- A strong understanding of Quality Engineering principles and automation-led test improvement.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior business and programme leaders.
- Experience delivering end-to-end testing strategies within complex enterprise environments.
