At Parish Lane Vets, we are looking for a passionate and committed Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and supportive team on a permanent basis.
Whether you are looking to develop your clinical skills, work towards a certificate, explore a particular area of interest, or simply become part of a welcoming and experienced team, we would love to hear from you.
About The Role
We are ideally looking for a vet with 2+ years of experience, although we are happy to discuss the role with vets who feel they have the right skills and attitude to join our team.
We Can Offer Either
- Full-time: 4 days per week
- Part-time: Hours considered to suit the right candidate
- No OOH
- Salary up to £75,000 depending on experience
- Excellent work-life balance
- Occasional sole-charge work, so you will need to be comfortable working independently when required
Our standard full-time working week is 4 days, giving you the opportunity to enjoy a rewarding veterinary career alongside a healthy work-life balance.
A Supportive Team Environment
You will be joining a brilliant team of vets, nurses and support staff who genuinely value working together and supporting one another.
We understand that every vet has different career goals. Whether you want to develop your confidence in general practice, build on an existing clinical interest or work towards a formal certificate, we want to help you achieve your ambitions.
You will have access to support from experienced colleagues, including certificate-holding vets within our wider teams. With Mayow Vets and Peckham Vets nearby, you will also have access to larger multi-vet teams and additional clinical support when needed.
Our senior management team has over 80 years of combined experience working within the veterinary profession. We pride ourselves on nurturing and developing vets at every stage of their careers, and our aim is to support you in progressing as far as you want to go.
CPD & Career Development
We believe that investing in our vets is an important part of building a happy and successful team.
Our CPD offering is generous, and we actively encourage our vets to pursue areas of clinical interest and further qualifications. If there is a particular area of veterinary medicine that you are passionate about, we want to help you develop those skills.
We already have certificate-holding vets within our teams, so you will have the opportunity to learn from colleagues with additional areas of expertise while developing your own career.
Work-Life Balance
We know how important it is to have a fulfilling career without sacrificing your time outside of work.
Our 4-day full-time working week, no OOH commitment and flexible part-time options are designed to provide a sustainable work-life balance.
We want our vets to enjoy coming to work, feel supported by their colleagues and have the time and space to develop both professionally and personally.
Accommodation
If required, accommodation is available at our Mayow Vets practice, which is just down the road from Parish Lane Vets.
