Shape how website content is created, governed and improved across a global organisation. As Web Content Lead, you will provide subject-matter leadership for content delivery, quality and governance across CFA Institute's enterprise website properties, including global and localised sites.

You will translate complex requirements into effective web experiences, set practical publishing and quality standards, guide day-to-day content operations and resolve challenging implementation issues. Working with cross-functional and regional partners, you will strengthen how web content is planned, delivered, governed and improved over time.

Essential Functions

  • Lead day-to-day content delivery across CFA Institute's enterprise website channels, including global and localised sites, ensuring work is prioritised, implemented and quality assured to agreed standards.
  • Translate business and content requirements into effective page structures, components, metadata and web experiences, advising stakeholders on the best implementation approach.
  • Own and evolve website publishing and content-quality standards, including pre- and post-publication assurance covering accuracy, links, accessibility, metadata, responsive presentation, brand alignment and user experience.
  • Oversee the consistent application of content structures, taxonomy, tagging, metadata, redirects, page relationships and classification standards to support navigation, discoverability and SEO performance.
  • Lead content lifecycle management across priority website areas, including scheduled review, updating, archiving and removal in line with governance requirements.
  • Use website performance insight, SEO evidence and customer feedback to identify and prioritise improvements to priority content and experiences.
  • Manage content delivery for localised and multilingual sites, coordinating regional requirements, translation workflows, publishing and quality assurance in line with the agreed website strategy and standards.
  • Provide guidance on the organisation, governance and effective use of digital assets within the digital asset management system.
  • Coordinate website content delivery and contribute specialist website expertise to campaigns, product changes and enterprise initiatives, clarifying requirements, managing dependencies and escalating material risks or trade-offs.
  • Resolve operational content-governance and publishing issues, lead practical improvements to templates, standards, documentation and workflows, and escalate matters affecting channel strategy, policy, platform capability or major prioritisation to the Senior Website Channel Manager.
  • Provide subject-matter guidance and day-to-day functional direction to content colleagues and stakeholders, reviewing complex work and building consistent web-publishing capability without formal line authority.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, digital, publishing or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • Five or more years of experience in website content management, digital publishing, web production or a related discipline within a complex organisation.
  • Strong practical experience using an enterprise content management system such as Acquia or Drupal to build, maintain and govern web pages and content.
  • Demonstrated success leading website content operations, setting quality standards and resolving complex publishing or governance issues.
  • Strong working knowledge of SEO, metadata, information architecture, content structure, accessibility standards and responsive web-content practices.
  • Experience supporting localised or multilingual websites, regional content needs and translation or localisation workflows.
  • Excellent writing, editing, proofreading and content-quality assurance skills, with sound judgement on web implementation and customer experience.
  • Strong stakeholder-management, collaboration, coaching and communication skills, with the ability to provide functional direction and manage competing priorities without formal authority.
