Worsley Plant Ltd is a nationwide supplier of excavator attachments. Due to continued growth and increased market demand, we are looking for experienced Workshop Technicians / Mechanics / Engineers to join our busy workshop team in Middlewich, Cheshire.
We specialise in the supply, installation, refurbishment and maintenance of excavator attachments, and this is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically minded engineer looking for a permanent position with a growing company.
The Role
Working as part of our successful workshop team, you will be involved in the refurbishment, repair, maintenance and preparation of a wide range of excavator attachments, including:
- Hydraulic and rotating sorting grabs
- Crushing buckets
- Screening buckets
- Bespoke excavator attachments
- Hydraulic and mechanical equipment
The role will offer plenty of variety, with the opportunity to develop specialist knowledge and receive training on bespoke and specialist attachments.
About You
We are looking for someone with a mechanical or technical background. Previous experience in the plant industry would be an advantage, but we would also consider candidates with relevant experience from agricultural machinery, heavy equipment, mechanical engineering or similar industries.
Ideally, you will have
- Mechanical engineering or workshop experience
- Good mechanical fault-finding and repair skills
- Hydraulic knowledge and experience
- Welding and fabrication skills
- A practical, hands-on approach
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work
Previous experience working with excavator attachments or construction plant is desirable but not essential.
