At Doncasters we have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join our Doncasters Team!


This is a hybrid role with 2 working days at our East Midlands Office.

The Role


As an Accounts Assistant you will report to our HQ Financial Controller and be responsible for maintaining accurate daily cash book entries across all bank accounts, including posting and allocating receipts and payments, performing daily bank reconciliations, and resolving discrepancies. The position support short-term cash flow reporting, processes supplier invoices inline with purchase orders and approval procedures and ensure compliance with internal financial controls. This role will also support audits, processes routine journals, assist with expense claim analysis, and contributes to ad-hoc finance tasks and projects required.

  • Previous experience of working within a team.
  • Working towards AAT accounting qualification (desirable).
  • Experience working within an accounts function (desirable).
  • Knowledge and use of MS Excel and IT equipment.
