This is an opportunity to take the next step in your development and leadership by working (for a fixed term to cover maternity leave) as an Advanced Pharmacist for either Medicine or Surgery with some additional responsibility for Practice Development within our Pharmacy team at Northampton General Hospital.

You will work closely and be supported by the Principal Pharmacists for Medicine and Surgery and the Associate Chief Pharmacists for Clinical Services. You Will

  • Deliver expert clinical pharmacy services to acute medical patients.
  • Lead medicines optimisation initiatives and service developments.
  • Support prescribing and medicines governance activities.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical pathways and prescribing guidance.
