Buyers

Plan, organise, schedule and purchase an assigned portfolio of parts and materials from approved suppliers to ensure continuity of supply in support of production schedules, customer demand and business delivery requirements.

Manage supplier order books and material requirements using MRP and other relevant systems, ensuring purchased parts are available when required while supporting effective inventory management.

Essential

• Previous experience in a Buyer role
• Previous experience liaising with suppliers 
• Knowledge of MRP systems
• Excellent IT Skills 
• Educated to GCSE Level, Grades A*-C, or equivalent (including Maths & English)
• Problem solving and decision making
• Teamwork & Collaboration

• Customer focused (internal and external)

Desirable

• 3+ years’ experience of /Buyer role in an Engineering or Aerospace company
• HND/ILM
• Third level qualification in a supply chain related discipline
