Chief Executive Officer
Role Introduction
Justice & Care exists to end modern slavery by joining forces with others. Since its founding in 2008, the organisation has built an exceptional reputation through award-winning programmes in the UK and Bangladesh, combining frontline support for survivors with evidence-led systems change, influencing governments, law enforcement, funders and strategic partners. Today, Justice and Care is entering an important new phase: strengthening its long-term financial and organisational resilience, deepening impact and thoughtfully scaling what works.
We are now seeking an outstanding Chief Executive Officer to lead the organisation's next chapter, building on strong foundations while extending the reach and influence of proven approaches that can help reduce modern slavery at scale. This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of one of the UK's most respected anti-slavery organisations and drive meaningful change against one of the world's most significant human rights challenges.
The successful candidate will bring significant senior leadership experience as a CEO, Managing Director, Country Director or equivalent, gained within a complex organisation, business unit or mission-led environment. You will have a strong track record of delivering organisational performance, resilience and sustainable growth, alongside proven success in fundraising, income generation and building long-term funding partnerships. An accomplished ambassador, you will be adept at building relationships with donors, governments, policymakers and other senior stakeholders, while leading and empowering high-performing teams through clarity, accountability and collaboration. Personally, you will be a thoughtful, humble and emotionally intelligent leader, committed to safeguarding, ethical practice and organisational integrity. Evidence-led and impact-driven, you will share Justice & Care's commitment to partnership, dignity, excellence and systems-level change, with a determination to improve outcomes for people affected by modern slavery.
