Chief Executive Officer

London, with hybrid working and International travel

£126,092

Every young person should have the chance to build a future through meaningful work. Yet for millions, access to the skills, confidence, and opportunities to do so remains out of reach. Founded by His Majesty King Charles III in 2015, The King’s Trust International' (formerly Prince's Trust International). Our education, employment, and enterprise programmes now reach young people in 17 countries across Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, Europe, and the Middle East.

Building on a highly successful first decade, we have set ourselves the goal of supporting one million young people over the next ten years. Our new Chief Executive will lead this next phase, extending our reach through stronger partnerships, digital innovation, and a more influential voice on youth employment, while keeping young people’s aspirations, experiences, and voices at the heart of our decisions.

Working closely with our Board and colleagues across The King’s Trust Group, you will turn this ambition into sustainable growth and demonstrable results. You will lead and develop our team, strengthen our delivery partnerships, and play a direct role in securing the funding that makes our work possible. You will combine an outward-looking approach with sound financial judgement, operational discipline, and an uncompromising commitment to safeguarding.

You will bring substantial leadership experience from the public, private, or voluntary sector, with evidence of delivering results internationally and leading people through growth and change. Demonstrating your understanding of how to achieve impact through partners, respecting local expertise while maintaining clear expectations of quality and accountability, will be key.

An accomplished communicator and ambassador, you will have the cultural understanding, diplomacy, and judgement to build trust with governments, business leaders, philanthropists, and the Royal Household. We are looking for an inclusive, thoughtful, and energetic leader, able to make a compelling case for support, build lasting relationships, and turn shared interests into practical commitments.

Because we want to create the conditions for colleagues from different backgrounds to contribute, challenge, and succeed, and need our leadership to reflect the diversity of the young people and communities we serve, we warmly welcome applications from people whose backgrounds and perspectives are underrepresented at this level. Whatever your professional background, you will bring a clear personal commitment to expanding opportunity for young people.

Please submit your application by 11:59pm Sunday 15th November 2026.
