Location – Glasgow / Edinburgh, plus occasional travel to other offices in Scotland

Salary – c. £150,000

Wright, Johnston & Mackenzie and Irwin Mitchell Scotland are seeking an accomplished and commercially astute Chief Financial and Operating Officer to join their executive leadership teams at an exciting stage in their development.

This newly created role will provide strategic financial and operational leadership across both businesses, supporting ambitious growth plans, strengthening organisational performance and driving closer collaboration.

Working directly with the Managing Partners and Boards, you will lead the Finance, IT, People Services, Facilities, and Risk & Compliance functions, bringing commercial insight, operational expertise and the ability to translate strategy into delivery.

We are looking for a qualified accountant with substantial senior leadership experience, strong commercial judgement and a proven ability to lead change within a complex organisation.

Just as importantly, you will be an exceptional relationship builder: collaborative, credible and confident in your ability to influence, challenge and engage senior stakeholders. Experience within professional services would be advantageous but is not essential.
