We are seeking an experienced and passionate Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) in Gynaecology & Endometriosis looking to make a real difference with this unique opportunity at our forward-thinking prestigious Parkside Hospital, where you will be dedicated to setting up a new and exciting service shaping and developing a specialist women's health service, dealing with robotic and complex gynaecological cases.
In this specialist role, you will manage your own caseload of women with gynaecological conditions, including complex endometriosis, providing expert clinical care, patient education, and support throughout their treatment journey. Working closely with Consultants and the wider MDT, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding, patient-centred care while driving service development and clinical excellence as we work towards a BSGE accreditation.
As a Gynaecology & Endometriosis CNS you will
- Manage and coordinate specialist gynaecology and endometriosis patient pathways.
- Provide advanced clinical assessment, education and support to patients.
- Lead nurse-led services and support Consultant-led clinics.
- Participate in and present at MDT meetings.
- Act as a clinical expert, providing leadership, mentorship and education to colleagues.
- Contribute to service development, audits and enhanced patient outcomes.
About You
- Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
- Significant experience within gynaecology and/or endometriosis services.
- Demonstrable experience managing complex patient caseloads.
- Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
- Passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and improving patient experience.
