Clinical Psychologist – Getting Help and Clinical Pathway Leadership
The CAMHS Disability Service is a well-established part of Community CAMHS and offers a wide range of care pathways (0-18 years; moderate to profound LD, ASD and ADHD as well as physical disabilities) including specialist therapeutic interventions, neurodevelopmental assessments with post-diagnostic support, MDT and group interventions, duty and initial assessments and brief, focused interventions for autism. Systemic and relational models form the basis for much of our work, alongside behavioural techniques and a variety of specialist, evidence based approaches. Referrals are diverse, reflecting our local community which we are proud to serve.
This is a highly specialist Psychologist post within CAMHS Disability, Community CAMHS. The post will provide senior clinical and pathway leadership across two key areas of the service: leading the Getting Help (Tier 2) intervention and group pathways across Community CAMHS, and supporting the strategic and clinical leadership of the SCAC autism assessment pathway for children and young people aged 5–18.
The post holder will work across Community CAMHS to strengthen timely, evidence-based Getting Help interventions, develop and coordinate group-based offers, and support consistent clinical pathways. Alongside this, the post holder will contribute senior clinical leadership to SCAC, supporting the quality, flow and development of the 5–18 autism assessment pathway.
