The Opportunity
You'll work closely with Product, Engineering, Commercial, Privacy, Security, and Compliance teams, advising on legal issues throughout the entire product lifecycle. This is an opportunity to influence product strategy, support innovation, and help shape cutting-edge technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide practical legal advice on the design, development, launch, and enhancement of technology products.
- Partner with product managers and engineers to assess legal and regulatory risks early in the product development process.
- Advise on SaaS, software licensing, cloud services, AI, digital platforms, and emerging technologies.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial and technology agreements.
- Counsel on intellectual property, data privacy, consumer protection, and regulatory matters.
- Support global product launches and expansion into new markets.
- Develop scalable legal frameworks, playbooks, and processes to support business growth.
About You
- Qualified Lawyer with 5-13 years' PQE.
- Strong experience gained within a technology company, digital business, or leading commercial technology practice.
- Demonstrated experience advising on product counselling, software, SaaS, cloud, AI, data privacy, and technology transactions.
- Comfortable working directly with product and engineering stakeholders.
- Commercially minded, pragmatic, and able to balance legal risk with business objectives.
- Experience supporting international products and multi-jurisdictional issues is highly desirable.
