Commercial Technology and Outsourcing Lawyer, 4+ PQE, London
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lawyer to join our Tier 1-ranked national Commercial team, specialising in IT, Technology, and Outsourcing. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex, high-value projects that help leading organisations deliver digital innovation and operational transformation.
You will advise an impressive client base including FTSE 100 companies, major retailers, energy and utility providers, and industrial and manufacturing businesses. The role involves supporting and leading on a broad range of matters, including digital transformation projects, IT and business process outsourcing, SaaS and cloud agreements, software licensing, supply chain contracts, and wider commercial arrangements. You will work on both large-scale strategic transactions and mid-market deals, often where technology, outsourcing and regulation intersect.
Our national Commercial team works across all AG offices on domestic and cross-border matters for both private and public sector clients. We are known for handling some of the largest and most sophisticated digital transformation deals in the market, while offering a collaborative environment, genuine career progression, and secondment opportunities.
We are looking for a qualified lawyer with at least 4 years' PQE and strong experience in commercial and technology law. You should have a proven track record advising on IT outsourcing, SaaS/cloud, software licensing or technology infrastructure agreements, as well as confidence in leading transactions and building strong client relationships. A strategic, solutions-focused approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential.
Experience in sectors such as retail, financial services, energy, utilities, industrials, or telecoms would be advantageous, as would familiarity with relevant regulatory issues such as outsourcing, operational resilience, cloud guidance, and data protection.
