Head Chef / Kitchen Manager at Astley Hall is a leadership role combining menu creativity with strong operational standards. You'll plan and prepare nutritious, appealing meals, tailoring menus to residents' dietary requirements and preferences while using fresh, seasonal ingredients where possible.
Working to a rota including alternate weekends, you'll manage the kitchen team, maintain Environmental Health and HACCP standards, and complete records using in-house IT systems. You'll also help elevate the dining experience and collaborate with the Lifestyle & Wellbeing team on themed events and special meals. A Level 3 Food Hygiene qualification and good knowledge of food safety and older adult nutrition are key.
