Location: Warton - Preston
Hourly Rate: £55 PAYE OR £74.26 Umbrella inside IR35
Duration: Until end of July 2027
Working Arrangements: 3 days per week on-site
Key Responsibilities
- Working with stakeholders, analysts and other developers to understand systems and collaborate on the implementation of appropriate BI solutions.
- Translate business requirements and rules in into technical design specifications.
- Build and deploy BI solutions using appropriate code standards, configuration and change management process and procedures.
- Working with multidimensional and relational data sets to support the creation of Cognos Analytics Framework Manager Models and Tableau data sources.
Skills & Qualifications
- Competent in development of BI solutions which include Cognos Analytics, Framework Manager and Tableau (where applicable).
- Knowledge and awareness of connecting to data sources and working with data held in a Data Virtualisation (DV) environment or data warehouse SQL
- Minimum qualification of a HND in Computing and have a Cognos Analytics Report Studio Advanced certificate or alternative Report writing certificate
- A strong understanding of modelling data using the Kimball methodology and experience in using ETL technologies
