Description: Part Time / 30 Hours Per Week / Fixed Term until March 2028 This is an exciting opportunity to lead on the delivery of a variety of projects for digital systems for Social care and Education teams that serve the people of Leicester. You'll play a key role in working with internal teams as well as regional and national NHS, Education and other partnership organisations to identify and deliver digital system solutions, along with improving business processes, managing training delivery and support of systems. Within this role you'll manage a mixed team of trainers, systems support officers and support analysts. In addition, you'll work with a variety of other colleagues from social care and education teams to co-ordinate and deliver successful systems improvements. This is a part time, fixed term position working 30 hours per week Monday to Friday (until March 2028). Your working hours will be agreed at appointment. You'll have flexibility in hybrid working being both office based, at Halford house or working remotely from home to suit the service needs with the expectation to spend at least 2 days a week in the office. However, on occasion you'll be required to work in an agile manner across multiple sites to fit the needs of the service. What you'll be doing As a Project Manager you'll be responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of a range of ICT related projects to enhance social care and education systems, ensuring effective and efficient delivery of improvements and project outcomes based on business objectives. You'll manage and maintain a range of project management tools, such as project plans, risk and issue logs, system support documentation as well as lessons learned logs and financial records. You'll work closely with a range of operational social care and education teams, corporate ICT colleagues, team members, NHS, Education and other partnership organisations as well as systems providers to ensure project aims and objectives are realised. And oversee the support of existing systems. What you'll need The right person will have a proven track record (within the last two years) in team management and project management experience as well as demonstrate good organisational and communication skills. Your experience should include developing innovative systems, including various stages of testing, training delivery and successful deployment with systems support management experience. You should have good presentation and meeting management skills, demonstrating your experience of working with a range of individuals and groups at a variety of levels. Also required is good analytical skills e.g. ability to gather, interpret and report on complex data/information to leading to solving problems.
