The Opportunity

Our is looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Works Controller to support Projects at Sellafield.

This is a key site-based position acting as the interface between the client and delivery teams, ensuring electrical construction activities are safely planned, coordinated, and delivered in line with project objectives and nuclear regulatory standards.

What You’ll Be Doing

Construction Oversight & Compliance

• Manage and oversee electrical construction activities in line with CDM regulations
• Ensure all work complies with procedures, client requirements, and site licence conditions

Safe Systems of Work (SSoW)

• Develop, review, and implement Safe Systems of Work
• Deliver pre-job briefings and manage change control

Health, Safety & Performance

• Promote a strong safety culture across site
• Ensure incidents and near misses are reported and managed appropriately

Programme Delivery

• Monitor progress against schedule and project milestones
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and project teams to resolve issues

Stakeholder Coordination

• Act as the main point of contact for in-delivery task orders
• Maintain effective communication between site and project stakeholders

Documentation & Continuous Improvement

• Maintain accurate project records and lifetime documentation
• Support lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives

What We’re Looking For

Essential Qualifications

• IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent)
• NVQ Level 5 (or equivalent)
• CSCS Black Card (Manager)
• Electrical discipline qualification

Experience

• Minimum 5 years’ experience on Sellafield or within a highly regulated environment
• Proven experience coordinating and supervising complex construction activities
• Strong understanding of nuclear safety culture and CDM requirements

Security & Site Requirements

• SC Clearance (or ability to obtain)
• P4 Pass Holder (ideally current holder of)
• Sellafield site induction and nuclear safety training awareness

Additional Requirements

• Immediately available and local to site preferred
• Strong knowledge of Sellafield processes, systems, and plant environment
• Ability to work in controlled areas (R2/C2, R3/C3) and as a classified worker
