At ACT, we're looking for a proactive Estimator to work between our London & Country divisions. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in securing new business by preparing accurate, competitive and high quality tender submissions.

This person not only provides precise cost estimates but also upholds the highest safety and quality standards during procurement. Job Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Estimator, extensive knowledge of the residential construction industry
• Proficient with Bluebeam
• Proficient with Excel
• Demonstrate Accuracy in quantity surveying
• Be self-motivated and highly organised
• Be able to work strict deadlines
• Be comfortable in relational verbal communications

Job Responsibilities

• Bid Preparation: Lead the full tender process alongside the Head of Pre Construction from PQQ to Bid Submission and Handover to Delivery team.
• Analyse project specifications, drawings and documentation to determine project scope
• Tender Document control
• Prepare detailed and accurate take-offs across all construction packages.
• Conduct cost analysis and delivering comprehensive tender assessments.
• Identify scope gaps between packages and qualifying the tender submission with any necessary risk items and qualifications.
• Attend client presentations and provide information to the client team in a professional manner.
• Maintain ACT rates alongside commercial team.
