At Savour, we're not your average bakery café.

We're an award-winning artisan bakery, café and pâtisserie with our flagship in Gateshead and a counter inside Fenwick Newcastle. We're passionate about exceptional coffee, beautiful food and making every customer feel like a VIP.

And when we say VIP, we mean it. Whether someone is buying a single espresso or treating themselves to half the patisserie counter, everyone deserves the celebrity treatment.

We're looking for an experienced, energetic and genuinely brilliant barista who loves hospitality as much as great coffee.

What you'll be doing

• Making seriously good coffee. Consistently excellent, beautifully presented and served quickly, even when things get a little crazy.
• Making people feel special. Remember their coffee, learn their name, make them smile. The little things make a big difference.
• Selling, not just serving. You can turn "just a coffee, please" into "oh go on, I'll have that gorgeous cake too", without being pushy.
• Keeping everything looking fantastic. Clean counters, beautifully presented products, stocked shelves and attention to detail.
• Being part of a brilliant team. Jump in, help out and keep things moving, whether you're in Gateshead or Fenwick.

Who we're looking for

• You've got real barista experience. You know your espresso, can steam milk properly and take pride in every cup.
• You're a people person. You genuinely enjoy chatting, welcoming and looking after customers.
• You've got a natural flair for sales. You love recommending something delicious and making customers want to return.
• You're quick on your feet, organised and calm under pressure. A queue doesn't scare you, it gets you moving.
• You've got high standards. If something isn't right, you fix it without waiting to be asked.
• You're reliable, positive and happy to work across our Gateshead and Fenwick Newcastle locations.
• You're available flexibly between Sunday and Friday.
