Experienced Conveyancing Solicitor

Due to continued growth in our team, we are seeking an Experienced Conveyancing Solicitor to join us. This is a full-time, office-based role in London, offering the opportunity to work alongside skilled solicitors and conveyancers in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our conveyancing team, managing a caseload of residential property transactions under supervision. You will handle all aspects of the conveyancing process, ensuring a seamless and efficient service to our clients.

This position is ideal for someone with prior conveyancing experience who thrives in a fast-paced, professional environment and enjoys working closely with clients and colleagues in person.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of residential property transactions from instruction through to post-completion.
• Draft and review contracts, transfer deeds, completion statements, and other conveyancing documentation.
• Conduct title checks, Land Registry searches, and deal with pre- and post-completion matters.
• Liaise directly with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors.
• Prepare reports on title and mortgage documents.
• Handle exchange and completion procedures accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain up-to-date and compliant case records using the firm’s case management system.
• Deliver a high level of client care, ensuring consistent communication and professional service.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Prior experience in residential conveyancing within a law firm.
• Proven ability to manage a substantial conveyancing caseload with supervision.
• Strong understanding of freehold, leasehold, remortgage, and transfer of equity transactions.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Confident communicator with a client-focused attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines in a busy office environment.
