EYFS Teaching Assistant

At Westfield Infant School, we strive to provide the best education for all our pupils in a caring and supportive environment, and we are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated and committed Teaching Assistant to join our happy team.

We are looking for a skilled and confident Teaching Assistant who shares the ethos of our school and is committed to supporting our brilliant children and the community we serve.

Previous experience of working in a school, knowledge of SEND and experience of supporting the delivery of phonics would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will

• Support the class teacher in preparation for teaching

• Promote and support the inclusion of all pupils, including those with specific needs.
• Be motivated and passionate to achieve the very best for the children in our care and make a genuine difference
• Use initiative to assess and evaluate pupils' needs
• Lead intervention groups
