ROLE: Fabric Technician
HOURS: 37.5hours a week
LOCATION: Barnard Castle
We're looking for a Fabric Technician who will support the delivery of varying construction and refurbishment projects, managing subcontractors and associated health and safety paperwork, whilst undertaking fabric maintenance and repairs across a busy and aged manufacturing site.
Role Responsibilities
- Manage a variety of construction, refurbishment, and minor building projects, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring all health & safety documentation is completed and maintained.
- Carry out general fabric maintenance and repairs across the site, including walls, ceilings, tiling, flooring, plastering, painting, and decorating works.
- Perform carpentry and building maintenance tasks such as door, furniture, and lock repairs, as well as flooring installations and remedial works following planned maintenance activities.
- Undertake basic plumbing and maintain kitchens, bathrooms, and communal areas to ensure a safe and functional environment.
- Provide general building support services, including housekeeping duties and other reactive maintenance activities as required.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience of working as a Fabric Technician.
- Strong customer service experience.
