The Role

Mitie is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the delivery of integrated facilities management services at a key site client site.

This role is based in Crawley overseeing the delivery of a full suite of hard and soft services for the client. You will take ownership of all services and act as the key client interface, driving operational excellence and developing strong stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of hard FM services (M&E, compliance, PPM, reactive maintenance) and soft FM services (cleaning, security, waste, catering, etc.)
  • Ensure full compliance with statutory regulations, health & safety standards, and industry best practice
  • Act as the primary point of contact for Thales stakeholders, building strong, trusted client relationships
  • Create and lead the onsite team in creating an exceptional customer experience across the site
  • Lead, motivate, and develop on-site teams and specialist subcontractors to ensure high performance
  • Oversee asset management, lifecycle planning, and maintenance strategies
  • Manage budgets effectively, driving cost efficiencies and identifying value-add opportunities
  • Responsible for the achievement of KPIs and SLAs, implementing continuous improvement initiatives
  • Produce operational reports, support audits, and ensure robust governance and compliance standards
  • Lead/support small works and project delivery as required

About You

  • Proven experience delivering both hard and soft FM services in a client-facing, high profile environment
  • Excellent understanding and experience in managing H&S, statutory compliance and building services
  • Hands-on, solutions-driven approach and a can-do attitude
  • Experienced in leading and developing diverse teams across multiple services
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Commercially aware, with experience managing budgets and driving efficiencies
  • IOSH or NEBOSH qualification (desirable)
