About This Opportunity
Are you passionate about improving outcomes for children with additional needs and supporting families to access the right help at the right time? As the Family Hub Team Manager (Portage and SEND), you'll lead the development and delivery of a high-quality, inclusive Portage and SEND offer across Cumberland's Best Start Family Hubs.
Working closely with families, practitioners, education, health and SEND partners, you'll ensure children receive timely and effective support. You'll provide leadership and supervision to Portage practitioners, champion inclusive practice, and help shape services through collaboration with families and professionals.
This is an exciting opportunity to influence the development of SEND support across Family Hubs, ensuring children and families receive the best possible start in life while driving continuous improvement, quality and excellence across the service.
This role is available on a permanent basis.

DBS Checks
This role requires a DBS check. The level of check for this role is:
Enhanced DBS check with a Children’s Barred List check.
Please note this role involves working in regulated activity with Children. It is an offence for people who are barred from working in regulated activity to apply for roles that require them to work unsupervised with Children.
